About this current time page

The large clock at the top reads your device's own local time and date, detected automatically through your browser's time zone settings — there is nothing to configure. It ticks in step with your computer's clock, so if it ever looks off by a few seconds, check your system clock rather than this page.

Below it, the world clock grid shows the current time in thirteen major cities across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia, each labeled with its local weekday and date. Every card updates once a second, right alongside your local clock, so you can compare time zones at a glance before scheduling a call or a trip.

Each city card also carries a small sun or moon symbol: a sun means it is roughly daytime there (6 AM to 6 PM local time), and a moon means it is evening or night. It is a rough guide for "is it a reasonable time to call this city," not a sunrise/sunset calculator, so treat it as an approximation near the edges of the day.

Use the "12/24" button in the top navigation to switch every clock on this page, local and world, between 12-hour and 24-hour display. Your choice is remembered for next time. As with every tool on this site, all of this runs locally in your browser using its built-in time zone data — no location tracking, no server requests, and no data about you ever leaves the page.
